First Wednesdays Training – School Discipline for Children With Disabilities
November 4, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Our First Wednesday training series resumes Wednesday, November 4. The topic for discussion will be School Discipline for Children with Disabilities. Kids with physical or mental challenges can face academic hurdles for a variety of reasons. But parents can take advantage of federal laws to help ensure their children’s special needs are met.
The training will take place in Training Room 1 of the Children and Family Services Center beginning at 12 noon; sessions usually last about an hour and a half.
Who Should Attend? Parents, family members, and professionals who advocate for children who wish to learn about special education. What Should You Bring? An open mind, questions and, if you wish, your lunch
Training is free but PLEASE RSVP! 704/372-7961 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Help get the word out and share this info with anyone you think may benefit! Click to download our First Wednesdays Fall 2015 Flyer — feel free to pass it on.
