We work primarily in the areas of special education,
abuse and neglect, mental health, custody, domestic
violence and juvenile justice; however, we accept any
case where we feel that a child is in danger or when
their rights to receive government or community services
mandated by law are in jeopardy of being violated.
While there are many agencies that offer after-school
tutoring or address a specific developmental delay or
a singular issue, what about the child who doesn’t
easily fit their mold? What about the child who’s
needs are so complex that they fall into several arenas?
What about the child whose mental or physical health
doesn’t
heal by the government’s clock? What about the
child whose parents have exhausted their means, or are
simply exhausted by the government maze? What about the
children neglected by the system?
The Council for Children's Rights works for them.
