THE LARRY KING CENTER
The Council for Children's Rights recently unveiled a new initiative that will work to provide long-term solutions to chronic problems affecting children in our community. After two years of planning, The Larry King Center for Building Children's Futures is now a reality. Click here for more details.
The newly formed Larry King Center for Building Children's Futures is dedicated to supporting effective action for children in our community by meeting three key strategic needs: Research and Evaluation, Strategic and Community Planning, and Public Policy Impact.
The Larry King Center for Building Children’s Futures will be a resource for the community at a strategic level - maximizing the effectiveness and impact of work being done for children by providers, agencies and funders.
Our first three priority objectives will be to:
- Improve school readiness
- Reduce the incidence and impact of child abuse and neglect
- Increase access to health and mental health care
