COVID-19 Vistor Information

In the interest of your health and safety and that of our staff, Council for Children’s Rights has put in place the following protocols for all visitors:

Before Your Visit

If, prior to your visit, you are feeling ill or have been in contact with a person exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, please contact the staff member who scheduled your appointment. They will work with you to reschedule.

Who to Bring

Please bring with you only those persons scheduled for the appointment.

Parking is available in the surface lot adjacent to the building, and the entrance is on 5th Street. Please note that there is an arm that will lift to let you in the lot, unless the lot is full. If the lot is full, you may choose between the metered parking in front of the building or the gravel lot adjacent to the building, on Davidson Street.

When leaving the facility, rather than getting a token from the security desk, simply press the green button at the 5th Street exit, which will cause the arm to lift.

Building Entry/Access to Elevators

If your visit is for the purpose of making a payment or signing/retrieving a document, the staff member that scheduled your appointment will meet you in the parking lot for that visit. If your visit is for an extended purpose, such as a meeting or court preparation, please enter the building from the front entrance, located on 5th Street. The elevators in the lobby may be used by visitors, but there should be no more than 4 people in an elevator at a time. The elevators are marked with blue “Xs” to assist with distancing.

Suite 510 Entry

Our office will remain locked at all times, so please press the white doorbell outside Suite 510 when you arrive for your scheduled appointment. A staff member will let you in.

No more than 1 visitor and 1 staff member may be in the lobby of Suite 510 at a time.

A staff member may ask you some basic screening questions upon your arrival.

Face Coverings

We encourage all visitors to wear face coverings, and a disposable face covering will be provided to you upon request.
