So, what is ANFCR? A Night for Children’s Rights is the Council’s annual fundraising event. This year (and last), it has to look a little different than in years past to keep everyone safe.
Instead of hosting one big mega event to share the impact our work has on our Charlotte community, we’ve extended it to two weeks where we host smaller events that fit our supporters more niche interests and our board members, staff, and involved supporters use their creativity, passion for the work, and community to host their own mini-fundraising events! Our fundraising series this year lasts from March 24 to April 7!
The following events on our website — the ones that start with ANFCR: — are all the events that CFCR is hosting! We are excited to welcome our supporters to a range of events all hosted in our very own offices. We’re incredibly excited to not only share our work but also our space with you during these two weeks! From our donation-based yoga classes with pre-class intentions specifically set for our children to the amazing Hannah Hasan who will share her art and activism with us, from our March Madness at-home party package to the introduction of our summer book club series led by our team leads and attorneys … we have something for everyone during this two week span.
We hope you’ll choose to join us at some point during these two weeks! If any of these events sound interesting to you, follow the link to their event pages to learn more! You can find the registration links there. If you’re interested in hosting your own fundraising event, please reach out to elysa@cfcrights.org before March 8th and we’ll help you sign up for a Just Giving fundraising account!
We are so excited to share our work with you!
