Summer Book Club Series: CDT All American Boys

Are you interested in diving deeper into the work of our Children’s Defense Team? We are excited to announce a new summer book club series that illuminates the imperative work of Council for Children’s Rights. Our CDT staff have chosen to read Jason Reynold’s All American Boys to highlight the lived experiences of their child clients and the young people they represent.

We invite you and your reading group, bookish friends, and others to join us in reading All American Boys together and engaging in communal discussion as we read the book and afterwards as CDT will culminate the reading experience with a live-streamed or in-person book club discussion with their team, community leaders, topic experts, and you!

This novel, while difficult, is written for Young Adults. We invite you to bring in the young people in your life who would be interested in learning more about the topics covered in All American Boys as well!
